We sell either clones or seed starts.

  • Clones are an identical genetic replica of the stock or mother plant that the cuttings are taken from.
  • With Clones growers can have a reasonable expectation of their yield based on the statistics of similar plants grown previously.
  • Clones eliminate the concern of seed germination rates and male vs female rates.
  • No need to ‘sex’ plants in the field. Each plant is from a female stock or mother plant
  • Seed starts will grow a tap root in the field as opposed to clones that develop a more shallow root system.
  • Stock plants (aka mother plants) are kept year round in the greenhouse under lights so they stay in vegetative mode.
  • In order to scale production, stock plants must be multiplied several times throughout the year in an effore to get enough stock plants to produce a certain amount of cuttings. This is very labor intensive, utility intensive and requires a great deal of planning.
  • After you figure the close of seeds that don’t germinate and seeds that might be male, you’ll find that the cost of clones is very similar to that of seed starts.
  • We do not sell our own seed, we are not seed breeders.
  • We typically start plants for farmers who source their own seed and just need a greenhouse to help start them for them.
  • We have sourced seed for farmers before who were looking for a source. We work closely with the farmer to identify the types of plants they are looking for and we will source the seed accordingly. We do not make money on this seed, we just pass that cost through to the farmer. We make our money on the plant starts themselves.
  • • Your starter plant supplier or seed supplier should help you with this process. Different varieties produce different results. Some things to mention to your starter plant supplier would be:

  • Are you growing for flower or for biomass?
  • Do you need to stay under .3% total thc or .3% delta 9 in your state?
  • Do you need to spread out your harvest? Some varieties peak at different times throughout the harvest season. If you select varieties with different peak times, you can spread out your labor force and drying needs.
  • We will deliver the plants to your field ourselves, with our driver on our truck (or rented truck). If you have any issues, they can be resolved right on the spot with our driver present.

Your plants will arrive in 72 cell trays. Each plant will be fully rooted and will have experienced 2-3 weeks of rooting time and an additional week of ‘hardening off’ so that your plants will be ready to go right out into the field.

You have the option of picking up your plants at our greenhouse or we deliver the plants right toy our field at a day and time that we coordinate with you.

Since delivery to the field requires some coordination and often involves changes due to weather or preparedness in the field, we offer complete logistics services for an additional .05 cents per plant. This includes working directly with the farmer on quantities to be delivered per day throughout the planting period.

One benefit of working with a company that provides starter plants and also handles the logistics is that if you run into difficulties preparing your field, we can hold the plants back in the greenhouse until you are ready (within reason).

If plants are already shipped and you can’t plant right away, we suggest you find a shady area in the field to store them until you can plant.

We suggest checking the plants every morning for water. Since they are rather large plants in a relatively small soil plug, you will need to have a water source nearby to keep the plants watered. On really hot and sunny days, plugs may need water twice per day until planted.

    We do!

Our credit terms are designed to where the final payment is is due within 14 days of the delivery. This allows the farmer enough time to identify any issues that may arise in the field after planting. We are known to visit the field of farmers shortly after they have planted to make sure the plants are off to a good start. Your success is our success. If we work together in the early days after initial field planting, we can ensure plant success together.
